Some highlights of the 2011-2012 school year

It’s a nuclear community. Another junior has placed out of chemistry classes at the community college and is studying…. nuclear physics under the tutelage of a University of Kentucky professor.

We’re in the news! A freshman scholar is now a published cartoonist in the University of Kentucky’s student newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel. The scholar’s internship is with the Kernel, so keep an eye out for more political cartoons courtesy of a talented MHS artist.
The Netherlands or bust. The school’s trip to the Netherlands was fantastic. Students sold ChicoBags and raised money by selling coffee and T-shirts. Students stayed with host families, biked everywhere and had a great time.
